La matanza de niños perpetrada por Israel, en Gaza , el pasado 23 de julio, en plena noche, mediante una incursión aérea con cazabombarderos estadounidenses F-16, es el vivo reflejo de la esencia criminal de Israel. De hecho eso es Israel. Israel no puede ser otra cosa ni puede tener otra naturaleza. Son ya tantas y tantas las matanzas que el Estado de Israel ha perpetrado contra los civiles palestinos, y son tantos ya los niños palestinos asesinados por este Estado monstruo (más de 500 niños sólo en los últimos dos años) que sería de extrañar que pase un solo día en el que Israel no asesine a un niño... a una mujer... a un anciano... a un civil...es prácticamente imposible...si no, hagan ustedes las cuentas y verán, sin ninguna sorpresa en la parte palestina, que la esencia de Israel desde que su sangrienta aparición en Oriente Próximo es matar...matar y matar. No serían israelíes si no matan, si no asesinan, si no destruyen, si no arrancan árboles y plantas, si no torturan, si no asfixian a la población palestina y la humillan, si no someten a cientos de miles de palestinos, niños incluidos, al castigo colectivo, inmisericorde y sistemático.
Esa es Israel y esos son los israelíes, vergüenza para la Humanidad y para la Historia. Estado cuyo pueblo es mentalmente enfermo, que está plenamente convencido de ser superior a todos los pueblos del planeta, y con derecho a hacer y deshacer a su antojo en su trato con los otros pueblos, incluida la humillación, el engaño sistemático y el desprecio total a todas las leyes y resoluciones internacionales que no sirvan sus intereses. Un Estado y un pueblo cuyo interés es siempre contrario al interés de toda la Humanidad. Prueba de ello su vergonzoso aislamiento, desde 1948, en todos los foros internacionales, donde el Estado de Israel es reiterada y eternamente condenado y tratado como lo que es en realidad: un Estado paria...criminal... y desalmado.
Vil y engañosamente, el monstruo israelí trata constantemente de ofrecer al mundo un rostro falso y enmascarado, cargado de rasgos humanos, con el que busca embaucar a media Humanidad sobre su auténtica naturaleza ávida de conquistas, de sangre y de violencia.
Este rostro falseado, reiteradamente puesto en evidencia ante el mundo y repetidamente desenmascarado, es tarea del camaleón de la política israelí, Simón Peres. El conocido criminal de guerra, Ariel Sharon, ha encargado a Peres ese papel embaucador y engañoso. Y el laborista de Peres ha demostrado merecer la confianza de su amo ultraderechista. Pero eso no debe extrañar a nadie dado que los gobernantes de Israel, desde 1948, han sido, y siguen siendo, criminales antes de ser políticos, haciendo así honor a esa esencia sanguinaria del Estado de Israel a la que antes nos referíamos.
En la mayoría de los casos, el partido en que milita el político israelí no debe mermar, sino potenciar, su plena disposición al asesinato, a la masacre y al aniquilamiento de los palestinos en particular y de los árabes en general. Y si a eso añadimos que la inmensa mayoría de los gobernantes de este Estado contranatura -que ha sido implantado en una tierra, una región y una nación a la que no pertenece de ninguna de las maneras- son militares, comprendemos con más facilidad, si cabe, cuan criminales ha sido, y siguen siendo, la inmensa mayoría de esos gobernantes, independientemente del color de su partido.
Y Simón Peres no es ninguna excepción, a pesar de que no procede del Ejército. Al contrario, este autor de la matanza de Qana, en Líbano, en 1996, (en la que murieron, dentro de unas instalaciones de la ONU, más de un centenar de refugiados libaneses y palestinos, en su mayoría niños y mujeres) está siendo el instrumento más útil en la manos de Sharon a la hora de confundir a la opinión pública occidental respecto a las auténticas intenciones de Israel hacia los palestinos. Peres inició hace un mes una campaña de reuniones con ministros palestinos, creando, por enésima vez, falsas esperanzas y presentando al mundo ese rostro enmascarado de sonrisa congelada. Los ministros palestinos, algunos de ellos auténticos novatos en el Gobierno y otros más veteranos pero igual de ingenuos, se dejaron arrastrar por Peres, acudiendo a las reuniones con él y ayudando, seguro que involuntariamente, a potenciar esa sonrisa congelada de la mascara llamada Peres.
La Autoridad Nacional Palestina, en su desesperado afán de contentar a Bush, se deja arrastrar una y otra vez hacia unas inútiles conversaciones, reuniones y encuentros con representantes israelíes. Desde el inicio de la actual Intifada, Arafat y los suyos han sido llevados por Washington a un sinfín de esas conversaciones, muchas veces bajo supervisión directa de la mismísima CIA, y de otros enviados de la Casa Blanca
(ZINNI, BURNS, TENET, MITCHEL, etc.) siempre con invariable resultado: un creciente descontento estadounidense hacia los palestinos... que ahora se ha tornado enemistad declarada contra Arafat, un apoyo creciente hacia Israel... que ahora se ha tornado un respaldo incondicional y sin rodeos a su política de agresiones y matanzas contra los palestinos, y una agresión creciente de Israel contra la propia Autoridad Nacional Palestina... que ahora se ha tornado guerra abierta y sin cuartel contra Arafat y sus instituciones.
Todas esas conversaciones sin principio ni fin no pasaban de ser, y lo han seguido siendo en las últimas reuniones orquestadas por el camaleón de Israel, Peres, meros instrumentos para ganar tiempo para Israel, para confundir a Occidente y a los Gobiernos árabes y para marear hasta el agotamiento a la propia ANP. Mientras tanto, Israel no ha detenido sus crímenes contra el pueblo palestino ni un solo día, convirtiendo la vida de cientos de miles de palestinos en Cisjordania y Gaza en un auténtico infierno, sin que el mundo mueva un solo dedo para detener al monstruo israelí.
Cuando aprenderán los palestinos, los árabes y la Unión Europea, que las conversaciones israelo-palestinas o israelo-árabes, que convoca, organiza y patrocina incesantemente Estados Unidos, no son más que un instrumento, muy eficaz, de confusión en manos de Israel y sus lacayos en la Casa Blanca, que sólo sirve para perpetuar la agresión contra el pueblo palestino, sus instituciones, su infraestructura, su Economía y contra su propia existencia como pueblo.
